<\/span><span class=\"s5\">s\u2019est taill\u00e9<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">une place appr\u00e9ciable dans l\u2019univers des arts de la sc\u00e8ne.<\/span><span class=\"s5\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span class=\"s5\">Sa d\u00e9marche de recherche et d<\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u2019exploration, qui porte<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> sur le <\/span><span class=\"s5\">concept<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">de<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> quatri\u00e8me mur \u2013 <\/span><span class=\"s5\">la<\/span><span class=\"s5\">barri\u00e8re virtuelle<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> s\u00e9parant traditionnellement <\/span><span class=\"s5\">la sc\u00e8ne de la salle<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> &#8211;<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span textes<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> dramatiques<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> et<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">ses adaptations th\u00e9\u00e2trales d\u2019\u0153uvres <\/span><span <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Festen<\/span><span class=\"s7\">, F\u00eate de famille<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> (<\/span><span class=\"s5\">adaptation du film de Thomas <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Vinterberg<\/span><span class=\"s5\">), pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Blanc,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">et <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Ph\u00e8dre<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e <\/span><span class=\"s5\">au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Bord\u00e9e<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">qui <\/span><span class=\"s5\">r\u00e9v\u00e8lent<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> le metteur en sc\u00e8ne au grand <\/span><span class=\"s5\">public, r\u00e9coltant au passage <\/span><span class=\"s5\">p<\/span><span class=\"s5\">lusieurs nominations, notamment<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> pour le P<\/span><span class=\"s5\">rix de la Meilleure mise en sc\u00e8ne<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> et pour le Prix de la Meilleure production, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">au Gala des Masques 2006 de l\u2019Associati<\/span><span class=\"s5\">on qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise de th\u00e9\u00e2tre<\/span><span class=\"s5\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s5\">Sur la <\/span><span class=\"s5\">sc\u00e8ne du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Trident, il signe<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> en 2006<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">la mise en sc\u00e8ne de <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Jacques et son ma\u00eetre<\/span><span class=\"s7\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\">de Milan Kundera, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">production fort remarqu\u00e9e qui se<\/span><span au Vietnam, il fait une premi\u00e8re incursion dans l\u2019univers de l\u2019op\u00e9ra<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> en collaborant avec Robert Lepage<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> \u00e0 titre de chor\u00e9graphe des marionnettes dans <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Le Rossignol et autres fables<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> d\u2019Igor Stravinsky<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 depuis \u00e0 travers l\u2019Europe<\/span><span class=\"s5\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s5\">Accompagn\u00e9 de <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Pupulus<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> Mordicus, il fait un retour sur la sc\u00e8ne du Trident<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> en 2008,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> avec <\/span><span class=\"s7\">L\u2019Oiseau vert<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, mise en nomination pour le Prix de la meilleure mise en sc\u00e8ne lors des Prix d\u2019excellence des arts et de la culture de Qu\u00e9bec.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s5\">Il collabore \u00e9galement avec l\u2019<\/span><span class=\"s5\">Ubus<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> Th\u00e9\u00e2tre, th\u00e9\u00e2tre intime, mettant en sc\u00e8ne <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Le P\u00e9riple<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, production mise en nomination pour le Masque de la Production R\u00e9gion en 2004, de m\u00eame que <\/span><span class=\"s7\">L\u2019\u00c9crit <\/span><span class=\"s5\">et<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Caminando<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">il adapte le film<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Octobre<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> de Pierre <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Falardeau<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">et<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> en dirige la production<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, intitul\u00e9e <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Octobre 70<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Blanc<\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u00a0;<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Vif succ\u00e8s, ce<\/span><span class=\"s5\">tte pi\u00e8ce<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en tourn\u00e9e depuis, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">est<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> \u00e9galement<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> mise en nomination pour la Meilleure production Qu\u00e9bec<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> par l\u2019Association qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des critiques de th\u00e9\u00e2tre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">En 2011, il collabore pour la premi\u00e8re fois avec Le Cirque du Soleil<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, qui <\/span><span class=\"s5\">l\u2019invite <\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u00e0 <\/span><span class=\"s5\">concevoir<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> et sc\u00e9naris<\/span><span class=\"s5\">er<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> un projet pour l\u2019Arabie Saoudite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> il met en sc\u00e8ne <\/span><span class=\"s7\">L\u2019Op\u00e9ra de <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Quat\u2019sous<\/span><span class=\"s5\">con\u00e7oit et <\/span><span class=\"s5\">dirige<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> en tant que directeur artistique et metteur en sc\u00e8ne, le<\/span><span class=\"s5\">programme d\u2019<\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u00e9v\u00e9nements <\/span><span class=\"s5\">et <\/span><span class=\"s5\">de <\/span><span class=\"s5\">c\u00e9l\u00e9brations chanson du Qu\u00e9bec, il orchestre <\/span><span class=\"s5\">notamment <\/span><span class=\"s5\">un spectacle <\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u00e9mouvant acclam\u00e9 par <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Autre pr\u00e9sence au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du T<\/span><span class=\"s5\">rident, sa mise en sc\u00e8ne de <\/span><span class=\"s7\">L\u2019Odyss\u00e9e<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, en 2012, \u00e9tonne et conquiert les spectateurs <\/span><span class=\"s5\">ainsi que<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> les critiques, qui sont<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> unanimes \u00e0 saluer la richesse et Sa mise en sc\u00e8ne prolonge<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> le travail de recherche engag\u00e9 autour de l\u2019immersion du spectateur dans l\u2019environnement sc\u00e9nique, de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 lui faire vivre une <\/span><span class=\"s5\">exp\u00e9rience sensorielle globale dans un cadre festif unique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">En<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> 2016<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">le<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">direction artistique du <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Tri<\/span><span class=\"s5\">dent <\/span><span class=\"s5\">r\u00e9invite Martin \u00e0 mettre en sc\u00e8ne<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">la pi\u00e8ce <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Lapin Lapin<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> de Coline Serreau. Une production unique \u00e0 la mise en sc\u00e8ne remarquable qui est tout de suite associ\u00e9 \u00e0 Martin Genest et son approche th\u00e9\u00e2trale singuli\u00e8re. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s5\">De 2017 \u00e0 2019, c\u2019est \u00e0 titre de directeur artistique qu\u2019il participe \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9laboration d\u2019un espace technologique permanent au Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Qu\u00e9bec.<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> En collaboration avec les architectes <\/span><span class=\"s8\">Hatem + D<\/span><span class=\"s5\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">il \u00e9labore un espace polyvalent pour la cr\u00e9ation et la pr\u00e9sentation d\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art num\u00e9rique. Une innovation pour ce genre d\u2019endroit ind\u00e9niablement tourner vers l\u2019avenir et les arts \u00e9mergents<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">V\u00e9ritable touche-\u00e0-tout, 2018 marque le d\u00e9but d\u2019une belle collaboration avec le Festival de magie de Qu\u00e9bec d\u2019abord avec la mise en sc\u00e8ne des galas international annuel mais aussi \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9laboration et l\u2019organisation du Championnat mondial de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale des <\/span><span class=\"s5\">S<\/span><span class=\"s5\">oci\u00e9t\u00e9s Magique (FISM) qui aura lieu \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">2019<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">il cr\u00e9e<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">pour la comp<\/span><span class=\"s5\">agnie de cirque Flip Fabrique<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">un spectacle <\/span><span class=\"s5\">de cirque <\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u00e0 grand d\u00e9ploiement sur la place Jean-B\u00e9liveau et offert par la ville de Qu\u00e9bec<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> \u00e0 la population<\/span><span class=\"s5\">. Succ\u00e8s m\u00e9diatique et populaire, le spectacle a en <\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u00e0 peine <\/span><span class=\"s5\">6 <\/span><span class=\"s5\">semaines<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> \u00e9t\u00e9 <\/span><span class=\"s5\">ovationn\u00e9<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> par pr\u00e8s de 200\u00a0000 spectateurs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">Finalement, pour l\u2019ouverture du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre le Diamant, Robert Lepage <\/span><span class=\"s5\">confi<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> \u00e0 Martin<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> un espace \u00e0 enrichir pour les festivit\u00e9s<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> d\u2019inauguration<\/span><span class=\"s5\">.
